July 5-21	AISD will have all facilities closed from July 1st thru 10th. Therefore, we are canceling the 7th & 8th Grade Summer Weight & Conditioning that was scheduled from July 5-21.

July 25-27 Monday - Wednesday	Little Dawg Football Camp Registration form (with additional details): Adobe PDF. Cost $65.00 8:00am to 10:00am Junior Division (Grades 3, 4, & 5) Senior Division (Grades 6, 7, & 8)

July 25-28 Monday - Thursday	Freshman Football Camp Registration form (with additional details): Adobe PDF. Cost $75.00 10:30am to 12:30pm Turn in paperwork for football; physicals, parent permission, acknowledgement of rules, etc. You must have all these forms turned in before you can practice.

August 4-5 Thursday Friday	Forms Due! Turn in all paperwork to the coaching staff between 1-4pm. AISD Athletic Participation Form, UIL Parent & Student Acknowledgment form and Physical form must be turned in no later than Friday, August 5th. Athletes will not be allowed to practice until all forms have been turned in. We will issue each player one (1) set of short and t-shirt. If you want extras you will need to purchase this online and your order must be placed between 7/25 and 8/8. August 8 Monday	Coach's Football Fundraiser and first day of practice. The Football Fundraiser is mandatory for each football player. Coach will issue ten (10) coupon books to each football player. Each book sells for $20 and checks can be made payable to Bowie High School. Players will have one (1) week (8/8 to 8/13) to sell coupon books with Saturday 8/13 being the Coupon Blitz Day scheduled from 1-5pm. Monies will be accepted on Wednesday 8/10 and Friday 8/12 with remaining due Saturday 8/13 after Blitz ends. Practice Schedule (practice schedule subject to change) Varsity-JV-Soph will work out from 6:50am until 1:30pm. They will need to bring a sack lunch to eat at the break as they will not be allowed to leave campus. Freshmen will work out from 8:00am until 12:00pm.

August 13 Saturday	Picture Day, Booster Club Hamburger Day, & Fundraiser Blitz. Needed: Volunteers for Hamburger / Picture Day To make this event a success we need your help! Please find a spot where you can help out. Please contact Linda Disney at ldisney@sbcglobal.net or 925-1854. Your help is greatly appreciated. Picture Day -- Team & Individual Photos Taken 7:30am to 11:00am 7:30am: Senior players and Trainers Group 8:00am: Varsity 8:45am: JV and Sophomore 10:00am: Freshmen Varsity will work out after pictures. Events in the cafeteria 9:00am to 12:00pm Varsity parents paint signs for Varsity players and Senior trainers. Players and parents purchase spirit items. Parents sign up for Bowie Football Booster Club membership. Parents sign up to volunteer for various football committees. Booster Club Hamburger Day 11:00am: Freshmen teams teams eat lunch in cafeteria. 11:30am: JV and Sophomore teams teams eat lunch in cafeteria. 12:00pm: Varsity team eats lunch in cafeteria. Parent Meeting 12:10pm: Introduction of Head Coach Jeff Ables and Booster Club President(s). 12:15pm: Parent meeting and coach staff introductions. 2:00pm: Freshman football parents orientation in theatre with Coach Jeff Ables. 1:00pm to 5:00pm: Blitz! All players go to neighborhoods to sell coupon booklets. * OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES AND INFORMATION * Donations for Hamburger/Picture Day Football Booster Club will provide: Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Buns, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles, Mustard, Mayonnaise, Ketchup, Plates, and Napkins. Plywood, Paint, and Brushes will be provided for Varsity Signs. Football Parent Donations: Each Football Class (not Team), has been assigned items to bring to Hamburger/Picture Day on Saturday -- see list below. Players can bring non-perishable items to school before Saturday. There will be a drop off site near the doors to the locker rooms from the parking lot. Freshman Families will donate: 12 Bottles of Gatorade Sophomore Families will donate: 24 Bottles of Water Junior Families will donate: Chips and Dips Senior Families will donate: Desserts (cookies - brownies )

August 19 Friday	Crockett Scrimmages at Burger Center 8:30am: Freshmen & JV 10:00am: Varsity

October 1 Saturday	Annual Coaches Wives Luncheon The luncheon will honor the special ladies in the lives of our Bowie Football Coaches and allow football moms to celebrate one another. Details are on the Luncheon page.
